Hixter has arrived in Bankside, and if you've eaten at Hixter in the City, or Tramshed in Shoreditch, you'll know what's in store from Mark Hix's latest restaurant based just off Southwark Street. This is the largest site to date with stunning design and specially commissioned art from leading British artists. Hixter embraces a casual approach to dining with the main focus on whole roast Indian Rock Chicken and a variety of cuts of Mighty-marbled steak to share.
Mark's Bar, Mark Hix's award-winning cocktail bar is located in the basement, serving cocktails that champion British drinks producers. The bar encircles the original tin-dipping pool in this old metal box factory, where cocktails are designed to be sipped in the intimate leather cinema chairs, or shared over a game of billiards. This cool basement retains the original tiled windows and brickwork of its past, and is available for private receptions for 100 guests or a lunch or dinner for 40.
Two private dining rooms, the Parlour and the Cock ‘n’ Bull are suitable for 8- 70 guests. Choose from a selection of set menus or feast with friends and colleagues indulging in sharing starters, mains and desserts to really impress your guests.
