Mellor&Smith are risk takers, started by Paul Mellor and James Smith in the cold Winter of 2009 with the simple aim: work with people who understand the power of risks; the power of different.
2009 was the year of Lehman Brothers. Everyone else was closing agencies, not starting them. They keep it simple. They’re grafters. They take risks. They are purposely a small team. A team of experts. A team where the client speaks to the creatives.
In 2017 they started their own speaker series: Take F***ing Risks. These have grown into one of the industry’s hottest events, regularly pulling in more than 400 attendees at a time.
