From 1 November - 24 December
Southwark Cathedral is London's oldest Gothic church. A church has occupied the site for over 1400 years. It has connections with William Shakespeare, US-university benefactor John Harvard and a Mohegan Indian chief. Visit the tomb of the first English poet, and learn about a 17th century doctor and his pills.
Visit the Shop at Southwark Cathedral for a great selection of decorations and Christmas gifts inspired by both the wonderful story of the Nativity and the Cathedral itself. There is a great selection of Advent calendars, candles, Christmas cards, Nativities, exclusive decorations and fair trade gifts available which we are sure will appeal to all ages. Whilst here also pickup a What’s On to find out when our Christmas services and concerts take place over the festive season.
The Shop is open Sunday 10am – 4pm and Monday to Saturday 10am – 5.30pm.
