Better Bankside’s Small Grants Scheme

Bankside and You Opportunity
Small grants of up to £1,000 available for local community organisations - applications now open
Rachel Nicholson
Corporate Responsibility Manager

Better Bankside has a longstanding commitment to the local community through its corporate responsibility programme which helps build connections between its member businesses and local community organisations through volunteering, in-kind support and funding.

This year, alongside our Community Partners programme, we are running a Small Grants Scheme to support a thriving community and voluntary sector that supports people living in Bankside and the wider SE1 area.

A total of £5,000 is available, to be donated as small grants of up to £1,000 per organisation. The funding is intended to help with the delivery of a specific project or activity, for one-off items of expenditure such as equipment, or for a specific contribution towards core running costs.

The Small Grants Scheme is open to not-for-profit organisations which are connected with and are working to improve people’s quality of life and opportunities in the SE1 postcode area.

Applications can be submitted at any time up to the deadline which is 12pm on Thursday 6 September.

Full details of the Small Grants Scheme can be found in the Application Pack which can be downloaded from this page.

For further information or to submit an application, please contact Rachel Nicholson, Corporate Responsibility Manager: rn [at] betterbankside.co.uk (subject: Small%20Grants%20Scheme)
