Dickens Square – Butterfly Walk Conservation
The ‘Butterfly Walk’ conservation area in nearby Dickens Square park is sadly overgrown and in need of some TLC. Local organisation Quadron are looking for a group of up to 12 volunteers to help them undertake some conservation works on the ‘Butterfly Walk’. The group of 12 volunteers doesn't necessarily have to come from the one organisation so if you are interested as an individual or smaller group of people do let us know.

- Grubbing out bramble and other invasive species
- Identifying and cordoning off reportable species (Japanese Knotweed)
- Sucker and basal growth removal
Dates: Activity will take place on one date between 14-16 March, register your interest now to secure the date that works best for you.
- Morning half day: 10am -1pm
- Afternoon half day: 1pm - 4pm
- Full day: 12 - 4pm
All equipment and guidance will be provided so no prior experience necessary.
Depending on volunteers availability this can be a full or half day activity.
