Join the Green Clean in Bankside this September
**Extra date added: Wednesday 26 September - register as a volunteer by visiting CPRE's Green Clean website**
Campaign to Protect Rural England is a national charity based in Bankside, This September they are running the 'Green Clean' national littler pick campaign and are looking for volunteers to get involved in the Bankside area.
As part of this, they will also be recording every bottle and can found during the litter picking activities, as part of their wider campaigning work to collate evidence about how effective a deposit-return scheme could be in reducing plastic and other waste across the country.
CPRE will be running a Bankside litter pick activity on Tuesday 11 September which Better Bankside members can join. CPRE will lead this activity, as well as providing guidance and all the equipment needed. You can also organise your own activity on a date to suit your colleagues, perhaps focusing on the area around your office - CPRE will provide a resource pack with all the information you need to organise a lGreen Clean litter pick and to capture data of how many bottles and cans you find.
To register for either the 11 September activity or to find out how you can organise your own session, visit CPRE's Green Clean website.
