If you want to melt away the mental and physical stresses that come from office life (deadlines, aches and pains from too many hours on the computer, etc) come along to yoga for deskworkers.
In our practical after-work session you will use gentle yogic techniques to;
Rev up your brain with extra oxygen
Release muscles that get tight and stiff from too many hours hunched over a screen
Boost energy and feelgood levels
The session will be a mixture of chair based and floor excercises.
Please wear clothes that you can move easily in, bring some water along and do not eat anything heavy beforehand (save dinner for afterwards!). No prior yoga experience (or ability to bend like a pretzel) required - this is gentle, accessible yoga, suitable for absolute beginners and the non-sporty. If you have access to a Yoga mat do bring it along with you or a large towel will be perfectly fine also.
Liz Castro-Thomas has been practicing yoga for the past 18 years. Qualified to teach various types of yoga (Ashtanga/Yin/Hatha) she intends this class to be gentle, relaxing, fun, free of the no pain no gain mentality of the gym. At the end of the session you should leave with the feel good factor of being noticably more relaxed then on arrival.
