Better Bankside's regular lunchtime gardening club meets twice-monthly during the summer months and helps look after the network of small green spaces we've helped to deliver in Bankside through our Bankside Urban Forest programme. Due to the change of seasons we will be meeting once a month.
This session we will be making terrariums, a way of bringing the outdoor inside and providing a blissful escape from the seasonal rush. It can also double up a gift for a loved one or a nice addition for your own collection. All tools will be provided, and no knowledge of gardening is needed - the aim of the session is to encourage people into the great outdoors, to meet their neighbours and to discover more about what Bankside has to offer while gaining a little gardening knowledge. The session will be at the Bankside Community Space.
(Places are limited for this session, so reserve a place to avoid disappointment). Feel free to bring along any decorative stones, toys or tinkets to personalise your terrariums.
If you'd like to sign up for this session, please contact Georgia Smith, gs [at] betterbankside.co.uk
