In Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) all foods are categorized into temperature and flavour and depending on their categorization, the food will influence the body in specific ways. It is crucial to maintain a balance of the different foods as too much of one type of can create an imbalance with in the body, which may in turn lead to illness. The way in which we eat our food is also very important.
This lecture, hosted by a TCM doctor from the Confucius Institute and London South Bank University, will offer tips to help you improve your diet in line with Traditional Chinese Medicine practices.
