Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art which combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements. Tai Chi can help reduce stress, improve balance, and increase muscle strength. These health benefits have been recognized for centuries in China.
This 45 minute lunchtime workshop will be hosted by Chinese martial arts instructor, Zhang Qilong from London South Bank University’s Confucius Institute. During this session you will gain an overall insight into Tai Chi through the introduction of 24 basic movements.
Please wear clothes that you can move easily in and sensible footwear.
