7 More London Riverside
On Wednesday 9 August we will be running a free morning workshop designed to help SMEs develop their business continuity and resilience plans. Disruption to day-to-day business – whether that be caused by a flood, IT failure or terrorist attack – can be hugely damaging. This workshop will provide advice on both preparing for such scenarios in advance, implementing and testing those plans.
The morning will be split into 3 main parts:
- A seminar on business continuity planning for your organisation led by Jamie Boam, Emergency Preparedness and Business Continuity, the Metropolitan Police Service
- A briefing from PC Paul Johnston from Southwark Police on maintaining resilience during a terrorist attack and keeping your staff safe
- A table-top exercise led by Southwark Council’s Emergency Planning Team to put the morning’s learning in to practice
The workshop will run from 9am-1pm (breakfast will be provided from 8.30-9am) and will be held at PwC, 7 More London Riverside, SE1 2RT. Suggested attendees within your organisation include Chief Executives and Office/Operations/Facilities Managers or anyone responsible for/interested in producing continuity plans.
If you would like to attend please RSVP to info [at] betterbankside.co.uk (subject: 9%20August%20-%20BCP%20Workshop) no later than Friday 4 August. Due to anticipated demand we can only accept two attendees from each business.
