Grab your trainers and join Joanna and Julie at The Bankside Community Space. We will be setting off on a 40 minute, 3 mile speed walk at 1.10pm.
This circulate route will show you how quick it is to walk to Liverpool Street Station. It will end back at the Community Space at 1.50pm.
These walks have been designed with working people in mind. Their length fits nicely into a lunch break and their route follows some of Bankside's key travel paths to and from major transport hubs. All you need to do is bring a pair of trainers or suitable walking shoes.
Speed Walking is a simple and effective free activity. It helps to improve overall health and fitness and is a great way to lose weight, tone your muscles, strengthen your heart and instill a general feeling of well-being and positive self-esteem.
