Bankside based business and technology services company, Aiimi, has recently become a Better Bankside Community Star and is a new member of the Business Improvement District’s Corporate Responsibility group. Better Bankside and its Community Stars aim to help make the area a thriving place to work, live and visit.
As well as supporting Better Bankside, Aiimi is partnering with UK Youth and Send a Cow which will see the team involved in a combination of volunteering and fund-raising. It has also joined with a local school, where staff will help Key Stage 4 and 5 students in the transition into further education or employment. This will include CV and interview workshops as well as career mentoring.
Ben Sprague, Business Consultant at Aiimi commented, “We’re committed to the on-going development of our local economy and the team here at Aiimi is keen to share its expertise and knowledge to help our community partners achieve their goals, gain added value from us and have fun at the same time. We’ve already started working with local schools and youth projects to help the emerging workforce better its IT skills, giving individuals a greater chance to get on the career ladder in a difficult economy.”
Peter Williams, CEO of Better Bankside, said: “We welcome Aiimi’s enthusiastic support for local businesses and community partners. As an organisation owned and led by our members, we hugely value the contribution that Community Stars like Aiimi make to the local area and we are looking forward to working with them more closely to help them achieve their corporate responsibility aims.” Aiimi will be working on a number of projects with Better Bankside over the coming year.
