Green Sky Thinking 2012

Join us for a walk and gardening in Bankside Urban Forest
Valerie Beirne
Bankside Urban Forest Manager

We're teaming up with Open City on their Green Sky Thinking Week 2012, a London-wide B2B forum for in-depth engagement and professional development on sustainability. We're keen to showcase the work we're doing as part of Bankside Urban Forest to a wide audience, and so have a number of events planned.

Join us on Wednesday 19th September from 6pm for a guided walk through Bankside Urban Forest, and learn more about how the initiative came about, how it's influencing the design of public spaces and buildings in the area, and what projects are planned for the coming months.

On Friday 21st, we'll be hosting a lunchtime of gardening activities between 12.30 and 2pm, where we'll be pimping Great Guildford Street, one of the key north south routes within the Forest. Join us an help us plant up some neglected spaces along the street, and make a positive impact in your lunchbreak!

Both events have limited places, so please register your interest by e-mailing Valerie Beirne, Bankside Urban Forest Manager on vb [at] betterbankside.co.uk
