  • Mint St Adventure Playground

Friends of the Mini Mints, a local parent-run and led group, is looking for the donation of six laptops and two printers to help them deliver their new project, ‘Mint Street Life Skills’. With the support of United St Saviour’s Charity the project will provide more than 30 life skills workshops over a year for young people aged 4-16 years old at the Mint Street Adventure Playground.

The children will use the laptops and printers for a photography workshop, and they will also produce a twice-yearly newsletter describing their experiences and achievements at Mint Street Adventure Playground. As well as telling readers about the fun experiences and skills learnt, the children will give an insight into how they think services could be developed further, bring tangible outcomes both by empowering them and by improving the services provided. There are also plans for children to exhibit their work at the annual summer party and contribute their learnt life skills to the event.
