Along with herbal medicine and acupuncture, massage is a key component of traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese massage promotes the flow of “Qi” (energy) through "Meridians" in the body. When Qi flows smoothly through the meridians the body will feel relaxed and free of tension.

This 45 minute lunchtime workshop hosted by Tian Ye from London South Bank University's Confucius Institute will provide you with the chance to learn some basic massage techniques, which when put into practice, will help release tension in your body.

This event is part of the Better You campaign - a month long programme of events and activities to help achieve a better mind, body and soul.
