On Tuesday 15 May at 9.00am-9.45am, join air quality champions from Better Bankside and Team London Bridge as we head out to raise awareness amongst drivers of how they can help improve local air quality.

The session will start with a short briefing about how to engage with drivers, the connection between letting engines idle when stationary and air pollution, plus how to dispel common myths and misperceptions about idling.  We'll then head out in small teams, focusing on the Borough High Street Low Emissions Neighbourhood area.

You'll be fully prepared before we set out, and any new volunteers will be matched with people who've taken part in anti-idling sessions before.  The approach taken is always friendly, informative and non-judgemental, with a focus on encouraging long-term behaviour changes.

When:  Tuesday 15 May 9.00am-9.45am

Where: The Hive,  1 Melior Place, London, SE1 3SZ
