16th May - BikeRegister - Cycle Security Marking

Help protect your bike with free cycle security marking

Southwark Cathedral, South West Churchyard

The Metropolitan Police Service Cycle Task Force regularly set up engagement stalls offering advice as well as free security marking and registration onto BikeRegister’s online database. This is the second of two BikeRegister events being held in conjunction with Better Bankside in May to improve cycle security in the area. The first event is at the Cycle Cleaning Breakfast on 15th May.

Registering your bike helps police and retailers identify and verify the legitimate owner of bikes that have been stolen or are being resold.

Security marking your bike deters potential thieves as your bike can be easily traced if it is stolen.

Come along to the Southwest Churchyard, Southwark Cathedral, on 16th May between 12:15 and 14:15 in order to register your bike. There is no need to book; just turn up and we look forward to meeting you there.
