Join Better Bankside for a tour around the curious installations that are cropping up over Bankside as part of MERGE, Better Bankside's art, music and performance festival.

The walk will start with a tour of the various 'Bankside Transformed' public artworks MERGE has comissions and installed on Borough High Street, Flat Iron Square and Blackfriars Road. This will include work by Candy Chang, Alex Chinneck and Marcus Lyall and Mark Logue.

From there we will visit 'James Capper', an exhibition at The Kirkaldy Testing Museum on Southwark Street. You will have the opportunity to see Capper's kinetic sculptures and hear a director from The Kirkaldy speak about the industrial machinery housed within the Museum.

Lasting just under an hour this walking tour offers and exciting introduction into one of Better Bankside's most exciting projects. MERGE Festival runs from 19th September - 20th October 2013.

RSVP essential.
