Be prepared to get messy at this creative and family-friendly online workshop. We will be making seed bombs with our Local Gardener Jasmine Pasche from Coin Street, Gentle Gardening Group at Beirne Spain Gardens.
Using a combination of compost, wildflower seeds and clay you will create small ‘bombs’ which can be thrown into patches of green space, releasing pockets of seeds which will eventually turn into a micro habitat for bees, moths and other insects – as well as creating a beautiful floral landscape.
- Meadow flower seeds or seeds collected from the garden , or alternatively a few packets of Wildflower seeds from Garden Centre
- Peat-free compost
- Powdered clay (found in craft shops)
- Mixing bowl
- Old Washing up gloves or Rubber Garden Gloves
