We've teamed up with BWB Consulting Ltd, to explore at this event how we can ‘put people first’ when it comes to planning, designing, delivering and maintaining streets and public realm.

Following the recent 'healthy street' publications from The Mayor and TfL, the shift of focus has been towards the health of people when designing and managing public spaces. Building on some of the work we are already doing to improve air quality through greening and consolidating freight, we will start with a guided walking tour of the local area to see real examples of how public realm enhancement measures have been put into practice. This will be followed by discussions and presentation at BWB's offices to look at the principles behind these improvements, as well as future opportunities and challenges.
