Meet outside Paul Smith

13 Park Street

Join Mr Londoner (Aka Antony Robbins) on an hour-long exploration of Bankside, in which we’ll uncover some of its hidden secrets. Our journey this time will focus on film, music and entertainment. We’ll head along the back alleys to see: where Hugh Grant and Colin Firth slugged it out in Bridget Jones’ Diary; learn how a 17th century Shakespearean actor extinguished the flames when his trousers caught fire and discover the drug den in Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. If there’s time, we’ll find out where 80s indie giant Depeche Mode recorded their very first album. And on the way we might drop into a lost graveyard, a blitzed church and a medieval brothel. All of life is here in chaotic but creative Bankside.
