If you have ever needed to win a pitch, share your work in a clear and interesting way or even convince others of your point of view, then this workshop is for you. It is suitable for all levels of ability and for people who want to become conﬁdent, articulate and engaging speakers.
You will learn the fundamentals of good communication, including voice control, body language and powerful connection. This interactive session will cover speaking in person and how to adapt to presenting online. You will learn how to create great content and to get your message across and will ﬁnish the session a stronger, more effective speaker.
Speakers Trust is a charity dedicated to training people to become more effective communicators and provides opportunities for them to share their perspectives in public. The organisation helps people become better communicators, with a greater awareness of the importance of speaking out. This improves education and employment prospects as well as the desire to use the power of their voice to bring positive change. Once participants see that they can overcome their fear of public speaking and use their voice to effect change, they are empowered to achieve across a range of areas, with benefits spreading to the home, workplace and community.
