Join us for a free yoga session aimed at releasing the tension built up from working at a desk. Ashtanga yoga helps in building muscle strength, which is often ignored in other forms of yoga. Every movement is synchronized with a specific style of breathing known as Ujjayi. Ashtanga can be regarded as a complete fitness program. It helps in increasing the body’s strength, endurance, and flexibility as well as calming and disciplining the mind. All equipment will be provided - remember to wear comfortable clothing.
Yoga teacher Liz Castro-Thomas has been practicing yoga for the past 20 years. She intends classes to be gentle, relaxing and geared towards the specific needs and requirements of those who attend. At the end of each session, you should leave noticeably more relaxed than on arrival.
