On Wednesday 18 September, come and join volunteers from Bankside businesses for a lunchtime greening and cleaning activity at Gambia Street Gardens.

Volunteers from local businesses will work with Better Bankside's Urban Gardener to do activities such as litter picking, weeding, and bulb planting to help tidy up and improve the gardens along this pedestrianised street in Bankside.

Individuals and teams of volunteers are welcome to come and help for 30 minutes to an hour, with the activity running as a drop-in session from 12pm to 2pm.  We will provide all the equipment required, including gloves, litter pickers and gardening tools, but please make sure you wear closed-toe shoes.

If you'd like to join this activity, please contact rn [at] (subject: Gambia%20Street%20green%20%26%20clean%20activity) (Rachel Nicholson) or gs [at] (subject: Gambia%20Street%20green%20%26%20clean%20activity) (Georgia Smith) to sign up, or if you'd like more information about our gardening volunteering activities.
