Roxy Bar and Screen

128-132 Borough High St

Bankside has been the location for many much-loved films over the years. Bridget Jones fell out of a black cab outside her singleton flat in Borough Market. The gang’s hangout in Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels was on Park Street beside the Paul Smith shop. Tate Modern’s spectacular Turbine Hall features in dystopian thriller Children of Men.

The Bankside Film Club launches in January 2015 at the Roxy Bar and Screen, showcasing one of our favourite Bankside movies every month.

Wednesday 21 January - Bridget Jones's Diary

Wednesday 18 February - Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

Wednesday 18 March - Children of Men

If you work in one of the businesses in Bankside it’s free to attend, just RSVP to confirm your place.
