Better Bankside's regular lunchtime gardening club meets twice-monthly during the summer months and helps look after the network of small green spaces we've helped to deliver in Bankside through our Bankside Urban Forest programme.
This session we be focusing on tidying up the Ewer Street burial site flower bed. We'll be deadheading some of our flowering plants, lightly trimming others, litter picking and watering. All tools will be provided, and no knowledge of gardening is needed - the aim of the session is to encourage people into the great outdoors, to meet their neighbours and to discover more about what Bankside has to offer while gaining a little gardening knowledge!
If you'd like to sign up for this session, please contact Georgia Smith, gs [at] betterbankside.co.uk (subject: Gardening%20volunteering) .
