Join us for a free yoga session aimed at releasing the tension built up from working at a desk. Hatha is a slower-paced stretching class with some basic pranayama (yogic breathing) exercises. The focus of the session will be on loosening the hips, which get tight due to sitting in chairs for long periods of time at work. The shoulders, which often hold stress, and get hunched with computer-based work.
All equipment will be provided - remember to wear comfortable clothing.
Yoga teacher Liz Castro-Thomas has been practicing yoga for the past 20 years. She intends classes to be gentle, relaxing and geared towards the specific needs and requirements of those who attend. At the end of each session, you should leave noticeably more relaxed than on arrival.
