Join Bankside Open Spaces Trust (BOST) and Better Bankside at Mint Street Park for the Great British Spring Clean. This national campaign, run by Keep Britain Tidy, aims to raise awareness of the impact of single-use plastic and other waste on local green spaces.  Volunteer as an individual or with a group of colleagues for this fun lunchtime activity taking place between 12pm-3pm, you can join us for 30 minutes-1 hour depending on your availability.  You’ll be helping to tidy up plastic waste and track the volume collected, plus you’ll be able to try some taster gardening activities with BOST and make wildflower seed bombs with our Urban Gardener that you can take home.

We’ll provide gloves, litter pickers and some light refreshments in exchange for your time as we give the park a spruce up ready for spring.

If you’d like to help out with this plastic litter picking and gardening activity, please contact rn [at] (subject: Spring%20Clean%20at%20Mint%20Street%20Park) (Rachel Nicholson), Corporate Responsibility Manager with the number of people in your group and what time you’d like to come and help out.
