Is your company looking to get more involved in the local community?  Do you coordinate your company's Corporate Responsibility or volunteering activities?  Would you like to know how you personally can contribute to the local community, or find volunteering opportunities to help boost your skills?  Or are you a local charity or community group* looking for volunteers?

If so, come along to our Community Connections breakfast networking event on Wednesday 28 November at 8.30am-10.00am at Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre.

You'll get to discover the many different ways that businesses can connect locally, both short and long-term. You'll hear about the benefits of developing partnerships from both local community organisations and businesses.  There will also be the chance to find out how you can support local homeless people over the winter months.

More details of speakers will be announced soon.

There will also be time to network with local charities and community organisations, and hopefully build connections that lead to opportunities for volunteering, skills sharing and other ways to support.

The benefits of volunteering and community engagement include skills development, building employee engagement and pride in their workplace, as well as creating positive stories to share with customers, suppliers, partners and new recruits, as well as making a difference to the local area.

Register today to make the most of the opportunities on your doorstep.

*priority will be given to charities and community groups based in or near the Bankside area, or are delivering services that specifically benefit people living in the Bankside or SE1 areas.
