This session, led by local business Complete I.T., will be exploring the rise in cybercrime and equipping you with the tools and knowledge needed to educate your teams so that your business can mitigate against cybercrime threats. We'll be learning about the loopholes used by hackers use to gain access to your data and how you can shut these down. We will also be looking at how a data breach and loss of client data is impacted by the General Data Protection Regulation and share our learnings since May 25th.

During this session you will learn about:

  • Cyber Security – Protecting your organisation and data from the threat of hackers, malware and viruses is a serious business. With so much critical data being held not only on your servers but also on laptops, desktops and hand-held devices, your business needs a stance and strategy on cyber security.
  • Cyber Essentials, helping you to guard against the most common cyber threats and demonstrate your commitment to cybersecurity, as well as staying Ahead of your competition when tendering for business.
  • How are cybercriminals infiltrating SME’s systems?
  • Simple steps to shut down loopholes on your network.

The first part of this session will run from 12-1pm, and will be in a 'lunch and learn' format. Lunch will be provided.

After this, a drop-in 'surgery' will run from 1-2pm for any specific questions about your IT.
