Southwark Cathedral Churchyard was restored in 2015 and planted with flowers and herbs with biblical and Shakespearean connections. Hear about a selection of plants that are grown in the Churchyard and Herb Garden and the Cathedral’s connections to brewers, dyers and Borough Market.
This tour will be led by a Cathedral Guide who has undertaken extensive training to learn 900 years of cathedral history and volunteer their time to deliver tour and walks for the Cathedral.
The tour will take place outdoors and indoors. You are welcome to join this event if you live or work in Bankside.
