**Event Postponed: Following Government advice to avoid gatherings and unnecessary contact, all events due to take place this month have been postponed and will be rescheduled at an appropriate time. We will continue to review the evolving situation with regards to the calendar from April onwards. Our events are valued by the Bankside community and we look forward to welcoming you again soon. The Better Bankside team can be contacted via email, as always, do get in touch with any questions. Thank you in advance for your ongoing support.**
It is essential to have regular check-ups to maintain the durability of your bike and roadworthiness. At Better Bankside we offer all this for free to our members. We also offer secure bike-marking, to aid the police with returning your bike should it ever be stolen.
At our regular drop off and collect bike health check the Dr. Bike mechanics will check:
- General roadworthiness
- Brake pads and cables are functioning properly
- Gears are functioning properly
- Tyres well inflated and no indication of any inner tube punctures
Depending on how long it takes to complete the work on your bike, the mechanics may be able to carry out additional repairs. Mechanics will also diagnose and note any serious problems which are too complex/time-intensive to fix at this session and advise what work needs to be done to correct the issue.
**Please note the change in location. Dr Bike is no longer held at Bankside Space, and has now permanently moved to Arches 58-69, Ewer Street, SE1 0NR**
We have a limited number of spaces, and run on a first come first served basis, so book early to avoid disappointment on Eventbrite here, using the password Bankside
