Are you ready for 2014?

Over a hundred and eighty local businesses have already benefited from recruiting locally.

The holidays are over, the New Year is here. As we all turn our calendars 2014, we all unavoidably consider new business goals for the New Year.  With the economy looking better everyday businesses considering growth will understand why having the right staff is essential.

Businesses in London SE1 & SE11 can take advantage of EmploySE1, a free service that helps bring local businesses and local staff together. EmploySE1 is funded by four Business Improvement Districts and over 800 businesses have been registered so far since 2011.

"We are here to help businesses to capitalise on the growing economy and prepare for 2014” says Chris Elders, EmploySE1 Coordinator. “Businesses in SE1 and SE11 know that the benefits for employing local residents include increased retention, motivation and lower absenteeism as well as putting more money back into the local economy.”

Any business based in London Bridge, Bankside, Blackfriars, Waterloo and Vauxhall can register on the website for free. Once a vacancy has been posted on the website only approved local agencies get to work looking for the right candidate for the job. Only suitable candidates are sent and an employer can select which candidates they would like to hire.

Over a hundred and eighty local businesses have already benefited from recruiting locally, in particular organisations based in hospitality and construction industries by having staff capable of working late or early shifts without having to rely heavily on public transport.
