Bankside's food venues open for takeaway and delivery

Bankside's cafes and restaurants are starting to open for takeaway, and they need your support. Follow @Bankside_London on Twitter updates.

Flor: The team behind Borough Market's wine bar & bakery Flor, have launched a new takeaway-exclusive brand: ASAP Pizza. ASAP Pizza will operate from the Flor kitchen in Borough Market via Click and Collect and Deliveroo, with a delivery radius including parts of London Bridge, Southwark, Elephant and Castle, and Kennington. For those who fall outside this area, the team are developing ASAP Pizza kits able to travel further distances - more information to follow. Flor is now open again on Fridays (10am-4pm) and Saturdays (9am-4pm) to purchase signature sourdough bread, pastries, and lardy buns ‘to go’ from the hatch. They also have various flavours of soft serve ice cream.

The Gentleman Baristas: Open for delivery or collection at the Park Street site next to Borough Market, get your favourite coffee beans, hot drink takeaway or cakes and snacks. See what's on offer here

Borough Market: As an essential food retailer, Borough Market has remained open for business from Monday to Saturday throughout the pandemic, with social distancing measures in place. The Market has been focused on selling essential supplies of fresh produce and store cupboard ingredients for those working and living in the local community. From 1 June Borough Market welcomed back more of its regular traders, with areas of the Market that have been closed since the start of lockdown now back in action on Fridays and Saturdays. And whilst all restaurants and seated catered food remain closed, a limited offering of hot food and coffee is resuming for take away only. The current list of stalls and stands can be found here.

Brindisa: Brindisa's Borough Market site will be opening for takeaway and delivery from 9 June. All the classic favourites that Brindisa is known and loved for will be available as well new summer additions. Opening hours will be Tuesday – Sunday 12- 7pm. Follow their Instagram @brindisaspanishfoods for all the latest news.

Terry's Cafe: Traditional British Cafe Terry's is open for business with a limited take-out menu. Follow the cafe's Instagram.

The Fruit Tree: A local greengrocer in Bankside is doing home delivery to postcodes in south London and Kent. Order online for fruit and veg boxes, store cupboard essentials, eggs, flour and freshly made sandwiches. Order here

Rabot 1745: Now open for takeaway at their Borough Market restaurant, indulge yourself with a cake or ice cream treat. Their temporary opening hours are Mon-Fri 8 til 5, Sat 9 til 5 & Sun 10 til 5. The Hotel Chocolat shop within is also open @Rabot1745

Bar Douro: Bringing you the tascas and cervejarias of Portugal. Available for collection in Bankside or via Deliveroo, Weds - Sundays, 5pm - 10pm. @bardouro

Lupins: Lupins’ seasonal British tasting plates with a sunshine influence, are now available for delivery. @LupinsLondon

Caravan Bankside: not yet open, but you can still buy coffee beans online so you can enjoy their freshly roasted and craft beans from home. Shop the range here.

Roasting Plant Coffee: The Borough High Street site remains closed buy you can buy their coffee online. And the same for London Grind.

Lant Street Wine: Lant Street Wine has been operating for the area for over 30 years. The majority of their wines are under £20 with plenty of great value choices at well under £10. Book a delivery.
