Better Bankside Unveils New Travel Trade Guide

New guide launched to ensure group travellers make the most out of Bankside

Visit Bankside has launched a new Travel Trade Guide, with information on group incentives, travel arrangements, coach parking, accessibility and tour guides.

As well as listings for all the Bankside attractions – both familiar and off the beaten track – group travel organisers can look for accommodation, food and drink options and venue hire throughout the area. The guide also contains themed itineraries to ensure groups get the most out of their visit to Bankside.

The new guide is hosted on the www.visitbankside.com website and works in conjunction with the Bankside Guide and One Big Summer Guide which can be obtained by emailing info [at] betterbankside.co.uk or downloaded from the website. The Riverside London App – www.riversidelondonapp.com produced by Visit Bankside also contains handy listings and offers for when organisers are on the go around Bankside.

“Bankside is a vibrant, diverse, complex and exciting area. This guide allows group visitors to explore and delve deeper into the area surrounding Bankside’s key attractions.” said Better Bankside’s Marketing and Events Manager, Louise Errington.

“Many of Bankside’s visitors come specifically to visit one or two main attractions such as Tate Modern or Shakespeare’s Globe. Some do not linger long enough to discover the hidden gems such as the Golden Hinde and the area’s many restaurants. The new Bankside Travel Trade guide will hopefully encourage groups to explore the medieval streets around Borough Market or discover the many art galleries located away from the riverside walkway.”

The launch of the new guide coincides with Visit Bankside joining UKInbound as part of their ongoing tourism strategy.
