Better Bankside are working with partners across London to implement air quality improvement initiatives around Bankside.

79% of businesses in Bankside want improved air quality, with this in mind we're joining Global Action Plan in the Clean Air Day campaign.

On 20 June walk, run or cycle to work on a low emissions route and join us for a free breakfast and foot massage

Where: Better Bankside Offices

When: 8:00 - 9:30am

Walk, Run or Cycle a part, or all, of your route into Bankside and pop into the Better Bankside office for Breakfast and (optional) foot massage. Look up the best route for you here: If you’re able to don’t forget to record your journey on an app! According to a study commissioned by Transport for London (link is external), the air in parts of the city’s subway system is thick with harmful particulates, with some of London’s Tube stations registering levels of air up to 30 times worse than the average for a London street above ground.

Air quality is an important issue for many people working and living in Bankside. Join us over lunch for presentations and networking. Get an insight into air quality in the area, how the offending particles behaviour in our streets and buildings and what businesses in the area can do.
