Free COVID-19 workplace testing programme

All businesses in England are now able to sign up to the government’s free COVID-19 workplace testing programme.

As part of the Government’s Roadmap recovery plan, workplace COVID-19 testing is now available to all businesses, including those with fewer than 50 employees. Business are being encouraged to register interest by 31 March to access free workplace testing.

The scheme will enable businesses, where staff are unable to work from home, to order free lateral flow tests for their employees, as 1/3 people with coronavirus don’t have symptoms.

Regular testing will be a vital part of the government’s roadmap to cautiously ease restrictions.

This is in addition to the local lateral flow test centers that employees, particularly in key worker, hospitality, retail, security roles and more are able to use.
