New pedestrian crossing at Borough High Street & St Thomas Street

Have your say about the proposed design before 5 January 2015
Valerie Beirne
Bankside Urban Forest Manager

Transport for London has just recently published plans for the redesign of the junction at Borough High Street with St Thomas Street and Bedale Street. This includes the first 'diagonal' crossing to be installed in Bankside.

It is hoped that this will be the first of a number of improvements to make Borough High Street a better place to walk and safer to cross.

You can find all the details of the plan and have your say via the Transport for London consultation website: https://consultations.tfl.gov.uk/roads/borough-high-street

Better Bankside will be submitting our own response.  Contact st [at] betterbankside.co.uk (subject: BHS%20St%20Thomas%20St%20crossing) (Sophie Tyler) or vb [at] betterbankside.co.uk (subject: BHS%20and%20St%20Thomas%20St%20crossing) (Valerie Beirne) if you would like more details.

The deadline for responses is Monday 5 January 2015
