Free training opportunity for hospitality businesses

Better Bankside is partnering with hospitality sector experts Otolo to launch the Better Bankside x Otolo Mentor Academy.

Businesses have told us that help finding relevant and sector-specific training and development opportunities is an important way that Better Bankside can support them.  So, we are joining forces with Otolo, a Bankside-based business that was set up specifically to help the hospitality sector develop, support and retain its workforce.

The Otolo Mentor Academy is designed to help people become effective mentors, learning skills that they can use to support colleagues and team members with their career pathways.

The Better Bankside x Otolo Mentor Academy offers 15 people the opportunity to benefit from Otolo’s expertise, with a six-month programme of dedicated training and support.  These fully funded places are open to people in all roles within Bankside’s various hospitality businesses, from hotels and restaurants to bars and pubs.  One of the benefits of the Better Bankside x Otolo Mentor Academy is the opportunity to learn from peers across the neighbourhood and gain insights into different sizes and types of business.

Otolo’s Mentor Academy is designed to fit around busy work schedules, with four 1-hour live reflection and practice sessions (in person and online), two self-guided modules, and monthly mentoring sessions to put your learning into practice.  Alongside these, there will be opportunities for informal networking as well as an end of programme celebration.
