We are looking for an individual or agency to provide PR support to work with us on either a project or retainer basis to:
- Position Better Bankside as a dynamic and innovative BID that has been at the forefront of urban regeneration for the benefit of its community since 2005
- Remind people of the importance and role of BIDs and how they can contribute to wider government initiatives such as the Levelling Up agenda
- Demonstrate the evolution of Bankside since the establishment of Better Bankside
- Highlight the actions Better Bankside is taking to drive climate action, economic growth and social capital
- Promote upcoming developments and how they are expected to further improve the area e.g. the next phase of the Low Line
- Ensure Better Bankside is a voice of authority within the media on discussions related to urban growth in London and the role and purpose of BIDs
- Ensure Better Bankside is seen as a leading example of how significant investment can bring back to life neighbourhoods in London that would otherwise get lost
- Provide PR support with consumer / destination marketing campaigns to drive footfall to Bankside London as a visitor destination.
We are looking for an agency or individual that is pro-active and will generate stories and ideas to help meet the communications outlined above. We understand the need to be reactive at times, but the focus here is to be on the front foot, so Better Bankside becomes a key organisation that the media trusts when it comes to discussing areas such as, but not limited to:
- Innovation and collaboration in city districts
- Business Improvement Districts
- Urban regeneration (especially through the Low Line)
- Carbon reduction
- Cost of living and impact on business
- Placemaking
- Small business support
- Tourism
- Diversity and Inclusion
- Levelling up
- Post-covid cities
- Urban greening
- Property investment
