Better Bankside is seeking specialist providers to deliver trainings for small and medium businesses undertaking the 12-month Southwark Climate Collective decarbonisation support programme.
The initiative, funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and supported by the Mayor of London, provides free, expert decarbonisation support for 160 businesses across Southwark to reduce carbon emissions, increase efficiency and cut costs.
Businesses participating in the programme will take part in one of four streams – waste, energy, freight and supply chains; receiving an audit into their focus area, followed by a recommendation report. They will then have the opportunity to join three training sessions aligned with their stream, designed to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to implement the recommendations provided, and to adopt and promote more sustainable practices in their workplaces.
We are seeking a specialist provider to deliver a series of training sessions or workshops aligned with the streams of the Southwark Climate Collective (energy, waste, freight and supply chains). Providers with multiple areas of expertise are welcome to apply to deliver more than one stream.
The audience size will range from 30 – 60 participants, and will include business representatives from SMEs across Southwark with various levels of understanding about decarbonisation and climate change.
More details about the content the trainings could cover is outlined in the full brief, available here*.
Proposal submissions must be submitted to: Mim Figueiredo, Project Lead, Southwark Climate Collective – mef@betterbankside.co.uk – by 17:00 on Friday 15th December 2023.
