Why Bankside Loves Walking

Better Bankside and The Bridge Gym have been running the Bankside Speed Walkers group for over 6 months! Here's why we can't get enough of being on our feet...

We love walking… It is one of the easiest forms of exercise and it's completely free!

Walking help circulate fresh oxygen rich blood throughout the body and the brain. It helps desk workers to ease daily stresses and release small cells known as endorphins which are natural mood boosters. Walking through Bankside enables you to connect with the local area and discover exciting new places you never knew existed and chat with people from a wide range of businesses.

Join us on one of our weekly Monday lunchtime walks or for The Urban Amble on Thursday 12th September. Here's what current walkers have to say about the programme:
