Destination Marketing

We promote Bankside and all it has to offer, driving exploration across the whole neighbourhood and supporting local businesses

Bankside is London’s Other Side, a world class neighbourhood with a special character and rich heritage, loved by overseas and British tourists as well as Londoners.

We celebrate our difference. Our strength is in our collective; we work in partnership with consumer facing businesses to share expertise and plans and provide marketing support.

The marketing support your business can access includes:

The Bankside London website and newsletter

The new Bankside website is due to launch early 2021, promoting Bankside’s restaurants, cafes, pubs, cultural attractions, gyms, hotels and shops. If you’re a consumer facing business who is new to the area, or isn’t listed, please get in touch. We share news, area wide events and initiatives as well as the story of our neighbourhood.

Our Bankside London enewsletter is received by 13,000 people, largely made up of Londoners and domestic tourists. If you have news, events or offers you’d like to promote, let us know.

Social Media

Bankside London is active on Twitter and Instagram, sharing content from our businesses to encourage people to visit and experience the area in new ways. Please follow us and use #Bankside.

Visitor Information

We undertake regular visitor research, from surveys to footfall tracking to understand visitor motivations and needs. Look at our Bankside Insights page for further information.

PR

Better Bankside works with a PR consultant to promote area wide stories. We’ll keep you updated on area wide events and initiatives you can be part of.

If you’re keen to help frame the programme and meet other restaurants, attractions, hotels, please email us for more information about our Area Promotion theme group. We meet every 6-8 weeks. Email Josephine Clarke – jc@betterbankisde.co.uk.
