Better Bankside has partnered with Delivery Mates to bring you the Green Logistics Centre (GLC), offering local businesses a sustainable solution for managing deliveries. The GLC will help businesses cut costs, reduce emissions, and improve air quality. The first 10 businesses to join can use the service for free, receiving up to three secure deliveries per week at a micro-logistics hub.
The GLC’s goals are to:
– Consolidate deliveries in Bankside
– Reduce vehicle emissions and improve air quality
– Promote low-emission last-mile delivery
– Provide businesses with space and cost savings
How it works:
1. Redirect your deliveries to the GLC
2. Delivery Mates will receive, store, and manage your stock
3. Use the online platform to check inventory and request items
4. Get your goods delivered by cargo bike at your preferred time
