Powered by the people of Bankside, the Better Bankside board is made up of local business leaders and other community stakeholders including landowners, residents and public bodies. We are one of the few BIDs to have residents represented on our board, demonstrating our commitment to the whole community ecosystem.
We are currently seeking a resident representative to join the Better Bankside board. To be eligible, candidates must belong to a resident group or association from the area.
Meaningful participation in the co-creation and ideation of our programme is vital to ensuring that our work is valued and relevant. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a diverse, talented and passionate board, with a key role in shaping the future of the Bankside neighbourhood and realising our vision for a stronger, greener, happier Bankside.
Alex Wraight, Partner at Allies and Morrison commented on his experience, “Being a board director of Better Bankside has enabled me to build connections with other local business leaders and given me an insight into the factors that impact our area. It’s immensely rewarding to collectively develop strategies and work with the BB team to see our initiatives transform the area into a thriving, attractive district for residents, businesses and visitors alike.”
