The Central London Careers Hub’s vision is that every learner leaves education knowing how their skills, talents and interests can best align with the world of work.
They do this by ensuring that the worlds of education and employment are connected, allowing learners to progress from education into employment with the skills and knowledge needed to carve out a fulfilled and impactful career path.
The Careers Hubs are a national initiative funded in London by the Careers & Enterprise Company and Greater London Authority. This funding means there is no cost to businesses to get involved and benefit from the expert support available.
Opportunities to get involved
- Join the Equalex Employer Charter: this commitment-driven initiative is designed to support organisations of all sectors and sizes to engage with future talent in Central London education institutions, including schools and colleges in Southwark. Members are supported to access at least one day’s activity each academy year, and receive access to networking, CPD and staff training.
- Become an Enterprise Advisor: these are professional volunteers who use their business experience to help demystify the world of work to education advisors, ensuring careers education remains reflective of the fast-changing labour market.
