Bankside businesses and residents are invited to join us this Thursday 10 August to celebrate all the achievements of Better Bankside’s summer programme for young people – Bankside Futures.
You’ll hear the young people talk about their experience, and what they have learnt, and share the local action projects they have developed over the previous two weeks. It’s an opportunity to hear first hand how the support of Bankside businesses and volunteers has helped the young people develop new skills and build their confidence.
The event will be held in the Blue Fin building’s stunning Wintergarden which has panoramic views across London. There will also be time to network and learn more about all the local action projects, as well as drinks and nibbles.
About Bankside Futures
Bankside Futures is a summer programme for young people aged 16-18 years old, designed to get them ready for the world of work by meeting a range of Bankside businesses, learning about different jobs and careers, and creating a social action project to share their views about issues that affect the local community.
