On Thursday 14 November spend the day volunteering at Blackfriars Settlement, cooking and serving lunch for the Positive Ageing members.
Join a team of volunteers from other Bankside businesses to help prepare and serve a two-course meal (with three main course options!) for up to 50 local older people, and get involved in their afternoon activities including bingo and karaoke.
Day Outline
9.00am-9.15am – Arrive at Blackfriars Settlement
9.15am-12.30pm – Preparing and cooking lunch
12.30pm – Lunch is served
2.00pm – Afternoon activities and cleaning up in the kitchen
4.30pm – Finish
As places are limited for this event, there is a cap of 2 people per business. This also means the group will be made up of a mix of Bankside businesses, making it a great way to get to know your neighbours!
