Get involved with Bankside Futures this summer by volunteering at this mock interview activity.
Working in pairs, volunteers will host short interviews to help young people taking part in Bankside Futures this summer to gain useful experience by answering questions about themselves and their achievements.
You will be given an interview guide to help you prepare and run the interviews, including a set of interview questions plus feedback forms. You will also be given mini CVs for each ‘candidate’ you will interview so you can ask questions related to their skills, experience and future ambitions.
At the end of the activity, your feedback will be gathered and discussed with the Bankside Futures team, so that recommendations can be shared with the young people to help them prepare for real-life interviews in the future.
As well as in-person interviews, we also need one or two “remote volunteers” who can host online interviews, given how commonplace these are now. The Bankside Futures team will set up the online interview, so you just need to log on from your device, whether you are in the office or working remotely.
You don’t need to be an HR professional to sign up for this activity, as it’s a great way to develop your skills and confidence as an interviewer.
THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED.
